It's been a year since we received the invitation to Simon Tedeschi's mini concert on Casio's brand new Grand Hybrid Performance Piano.
It is not the first time that a hybrid piano hits the market, but it is the first one that uses real hammer keys, sound and features made in collaboration with one of Germany's biggest piano maker, C. Bechstein.
With excitement we sat with the audience at Federation Hall, navigating through the three legendary grand piano sounds, Berlin Grand, Hamburg Grand and Vienna Grand, Simon covered pieces from Renaissance period to the 20th century. It was definitely an eye opening evening, experiencing GP500 as a performance grade hybrid digital piano.
We have a display model in store with a perspex glass where you can see the real hammers in action!
