When I set out to purchase a new piano, I was looking for the absolute best. I was looking for the ultimate expression in hand-crafted quality and found it in the magnificent, clear-sound projection and superb structural finish of the Blüthner Model 2: made in their Leipzig works – one of 400 hand assembled pianos made there each year.

Recently I had the great opportunity to visit the Young Chang piano factories in Tian Jian, China and  Incheon City, South Korea where Wertheim pianos are manufactured today. John Martin (Piano Time) and Chris Whelan (Piano Technician) accompanied me on the visit to the factories to conduct final quality control inspections on the latest container of pianos destined for Australia. Wertheim pianos' high standards are maintained by the inspection process in which Piano Time is, to my knowledge, the only Australian importer conducting final quality control inspections on pianos.
